Well, I see you can't answer questions on sewing machines, however your description of your area of expertise is the closest to what I am looking for, so here goes!  Even if you can't answer the question, an idea about where to look for help would be accepted!

In cleaning out her brother's house, my grandmother found her mother's knitting machine, brought over to Canada over 80 years ago.  I have tried searching the internet, but can't find information-likely because I do not understand Swedish!  Do you have any idea where I can find information on a Svenskt Fabrikat knitting machine?  The information can be in Swedish, as my grandmother can read Swedish.  She would like to learn how to use it.

Any help you can offer is appreciated.

Hi Christie - I'm afraid I can't help you with a knitting machine.  However, I know many collectors and would like to circulate your question to them.  Please email me privately at bacchino@twcny.rr.com so I can forward to you any information that comes back.  I will be attending a convention next month with collectors from all over the world.  I will also see if I can find out anything more then.  Barb
