Question
I have a slot machine which has no identification on it and hope you can
pinpoint a maker and the vintage. Photos emailed to your email address. Thanks

I sure can, I know this little bugger well, I had one. This is a Caille Dough Boy Bell Machine made from 1935 to 1937. These machines are not well liked and sell complete and working around $500.00 to $800.00, maybe more if your lucky. The air pump runs the whole machine and they go bad. Also it is important to have the original glass covering the coin escalator to the right of the reels. This is a special glass with a vertical Grove ground in it for a lever to slide up it, without the grove, the coins piggyback on each other. I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
