Question
Hi, would you happen to know or know of someone that may know something of old photos? This may or may not be an authentic picture of James Garfield, his mother and wife. The picture has a cardboard type back and appears to be very old. This item was just given to my wife and I and we have no idea as to what the value would be, if anything really. More interested to know if it is an orginal picture? I can also send some pictures as well

Nice to hear from you.
Sorry for the delay in getting to you but high winds knocked out our internet.
I could not imagine what your photo may be worth, but you must first find out if its authentic.
The only place that I can think may help you would be an historical society or a museum. I know of no internet site that this info would be available, but there are lots of pictures of Garfield on the internet to compare with yours.
Make every effort to find out.
