Question
I was given a very old metal type Coca Cola Bottle holder.  It is solid silver in color, no paint on it at all.  There isn't a date on it, but on the side it says, " Acton Manufacturing Co, Inc -  Arkansas City Kansas.  The line below that says, Patent Applied for- Made in the USA.carton that holds 6 coke bottles.  It has a metal handle that is retractable.    Do you know of the value of such an item?  Thank you.  Kathy

Answer
Hi Kathy,

    Sorry for the delay on getting back to you, I wrapped the pips for winter, pulled the plug on the coffee maker and turned off the lights before leaving town for the Turkey day holidays but forgot to make my self unavailable at the experts site.

    This would be a Coca Coca collectors field and not a coin operated game, but I do have a Coca Cola collector's book and I would be happy to see if it's listed in there. Could you email me a photo of it so I would know what I am looking for? My e-mail address is;

Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
