Question

Grand Prix
I have a Williams Grand Prix pinball machine model 468. I think it was made in 1976. It does need some repair. The fourth player does not work and one of the kick outs does not work. Is it worth restoring? I am not sure what to do with it. Its been in the back of my basement for years and I don't even know what it is worth. Thanks for your help. Kathy

Answer
Hi Kathy,
Nice machine you have here. Did you hit the jackpot, sorry no. Your game was made in 1976, and they made 10,554 of these units. They also made a electronic model and only made a couple, Like two!, if you had one, would be jackpot time for you!, but sorry, I can see it's the e/m model. If this was working, and working good and complete it would be worth at top in the $500.00 range. Not working, you have to go, less the repair cost, say 300.00, you now have a pin with a value of say maybe 50.00 to 250.00, depends on how you work it. I might be a buyer if you were close, I live in Seattle WA. Kathy, I hope this information is helpful to you. It's the truth and you can go from there.
Sincerely
Rodger Knutson.
P.S. Very Nice Game, I would love to own it..

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
