Question I have a small wooden egg that holds needles. It is a light colored wood, Printed design. "ASBRO" trade mark, B 3/1130 made in Germany. One side has picture of a woman sewing, "needle Case" patent No. 1492. What can you tell me? Thanks, Jan
Answer Hi Jan. Without a picture, I can't tell you much more than you have told me. Asbro was a either a company or a place in Germany that made needlework tools (scissors, darning eggs, etc.) You can research the patent on the internet, which may give you more background on the item. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Barb
