i have a button that has a ring of dots around the edge. a seven pointed crown over a caligraphic number 2 in the center. my father found it in 1948. i was wondering if you had any info or where i could find some thank you

Hello Gary.  I don't know anything about buttons, but I do know there are a number of books out on the subject, a number of button collector web sites on the Internet and at least two collecting organizations.  If you do a search of the Internet, I'm sure you will come up with some resources to help you with your quest for information.  Good luck.  Barb
