Question
hello and thank you for taking my question. i was given this gumball machine when my mother was moving and was cleaning out her storage. i know almost nothing about this kind of thing but i believe its very old as it is in i believe cast iron and has a patent date of 1923.  i was hoping you could tell me a little bit about this machine and an approximate worth. Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hello, you have a very nice machine.  What you have is a Norris Master Gumball/Peanut machine.  They were made in the 30's and are worth about $175-$225 in nice condition.  Please feel free to e-mail me if you need any other info on the machine.......
    Thank you
