Hi Eileen,
I just read an e-mail to you about a woman who has the same dresser I do, and almost fell out of my chair! It is a dresser with grape handle pulls just like she describes! She has a question about how to refinish it. Mine is in excellent condition, been in my fathers family many year, he is from the mid-west ( Minn.) I would love to know more about this peice and HOW in the world to find more. It was my aunts and she left it to me when she died. It is very special to me. I have looked in antique store for many years and never have seen any. I have seen pear handles though. ANY info. at all you have would be a blessing!!! Thanks, Yvonne

Yes I recall the lady who had the furniture with the grape pulls.
Can't tell you much about the furniture they came on though.

I have been repairing, refinishing and of course buying old furniture for the past 30 years. On any given weekend I can be found at auction sales or flea markets searching out a good buy. I have taken several courses in this area over the years, but I find "Hands On" learning to be the best teacher. I can help you avoid the pitfalls and problems of this wonderful rewarding craft.
