I also have a CB Specific Gravity balance that is missing the beam rider and the plummet.  I have been in contact with Dr. Robert Paselk at Humboldt Univ, Antique Instrument Science Museum.  He has a CB SG Balance and has promised to photograph and weigh and measure the rider for me along with the plummet.  This might allow one to duplicate the rider.  You might check the web site also.
