Hi, Rick. I recently came across a wicker rocking chair myself. The "tag" on the bottom was stained along with the chair. But, best I can make out - the name of the manufacturer is A H Ordway and Co., South Framingham, MA. There was a date on it of May 28, 1893.
I've checked various sites, but cannot trace the manufacturers name. However, when I looked up South Framingham, MA - there were references to Ordway Street, etc.
Hope this helps. If you come across additional info, I'd love to know what it is.
Thanks,
Michele

Rick,
I happen to have a platform rocker of the same era. The maker of your chair is Ordway. The label on mine is still intact.
