My father was James F. Sullivan (died 1977) and invented and patented the Shadograph scale.  I have 2 of them here in my home in Los Angeles.   He would be amazed that this info is now available online.

I actually own 2 of the scales, one given to me by my uncle who also worked at Exact Weight Scale Co, and one I bought online a few years ago.   You are welcome to contact me if you have any further questions.
