Question
I was recently given my grandmothers tea service.  It is a five piece set:cream, sugar, tea pot, coffee pot and tray. I am interested in finding out if it is an antique and if it has any value. Please don't miss understand. I am not interested in selling it, I just want to know what I have. Thank you in advice for amything you can tell me.                           Kathy

An original set is unlikely to be over 100 years old, which is the usual definition of antique. And this type of thing is not popular with collectors, so value will be fairly small. If it has any marks, I might be able to suggest an accurate date, but you don't mention any.
