Question
I have a red white and blue set of knitting needles in a red white and blue case. mad by Susan Bates, patent 1942. I am pretty sure they were designed for the knitting for the war efforts, but It is such a nice set, I would like to know more about them.
Hello Mary. Although I do knit, I don't know much about knitting needles. You are probably right with the timing and patriotic theme. You can research patents through the US Patent Office site, which may provide more information. Sorry I can't be of more help. Barb
