Question
Please help me determine if my 2 pewter candleholders have any value.  They are plates designed to hang on the wall with candles placed in front of them. Are these types of candle holders called by a specific name? They are stamped with LONDON England but nothing else.  There are stickers (white with red) that have a shield which says Old Castle England.  I would like to price them appropriately for a garage sale.  Thanks

Wall sconces. 20th Century, but not copying an English style, as, if they were ever made in pewter in earlier times, they would have been Continental European. Most authentically old examples are in brass.

Decorative value only - get what you can.
