Question
My husband and I came across a little creamer and sugar bowl set and we were wondering if you could give any insight as to the origin/date/value of it.  Imprinted into the metal in the botom is "English Pewter, Made in Sheffield England"  We've seen no other markings anywhere on the set.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you very much.

Made by one of several possible Sheffield pewter firms, somewhere around 1940-1970. The mark is not sufficiently distinctive to pin down a factory.

Very common.

Value very low, I'm afraid. If you like them, enjoy them for their decorative value.
