Collectibles-General (Antiques)/pewter pitcher

Question
Probably hopeless. The pitcher is 6. 5 inches high.  classic shape. On the bottom  it has "-----ord?" in old English style type, a small shield with what looks like a dog and Pewter in th same font and 375 in block numbers. Is it worth anything?

Thank you!

Pretty hopeless, I'm afraid! Anything with the word "pewter" marked on it is likely to be modern. I don't recognise the marks described, but it does not sound like anything particularly ancient. Value probably below $20.
