Collectibles-General (Antiques)/pewter or silver beaker

Question
My great uncle visited and taught in Germany in the early 1900's.  He collected about 9 silver or pewter beakers from different cities - they include detailed scenes and architecture in high relief from various German towns including Berlin, Mainz, Leipzig, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Koblenz, etc.  Despite hours looking on the internet I have been unable to identify these, see anything similar, or know what value they are.  Any ideas?

Not sure if these were ever made in silver, but they certainly exist in pewter. They were made as tourist souvenirs and your relative would have been buying them new - they are only just becoming antiques now. Very common in the UK, and worth only a few pounds/dollars. I know of no pewter collector who takes an interest in them.
