Question
Dear Mr. Roberts,
Any information, including value, of a Crown and Rose, cast pewter, made in London, set.  It consists of coffee, tea, and hot milk(?) pots and sugar, no cover and creamer.  The 3 pots have black handles and tops. I bought them at an antique store in Missouri about 10 to 15 years ago.
The other set consists of a pitcher and 6 goblets.  The goblets have written genuine pewter on the bottoms and the word White enclosed in a triangle.  The pitcher has genuine pewter written on the bottom and has a pewter handle.  They were a wedding gift to my parents about 65 years ago.
Thank you for your time.  Jan Means

The Crown & Rose pieces were made by Englefield's in London in the 20th century. Goblets are also 20th century, and probably new when bought as the wedding present. Common, not very old (not strictly antiques), and of little value I'm afraid.

Few items bearing "made in ..." stamps are old, and if it says the word "pewter", then it's 20th century.
