Question
a singer pinking machine, looks like a pencile sharpener. feed material in, and turn the crank and it pinks the edge. is it valuable?

Answer
John - value depends largely on condition.  I can't tell you if it is valuable or not without pictures.  You might want to take it to an antiques dealer in your area to see if they can help you.  There are also on line appraisals that can be arranged.  Try searching for your item or for an on line appraiser using one of the many search engines on the Internet.  You might also try searching on eBay to see if there is anything similar to yours.  Good luck.  Barb
