Question -
We bought a old candy vending machine and we can not find anything about it online. It still has the original candy boxes in it. It is made by univendor and is from 1931. Thats all the info we have collected on it. It is still in working condition. And we have many pics, which we will send. Please let us know, if you have any knowledge about this type of machine.
Thanks again!
Garry & Jes

Answer -
Garry,

I just sent you three photo's to your e-mail address of two very close Univendors and the side machine.
Thank You
Rodger

Hi Garry & Jes,

Interesting and what a fine looking machine.. WOW with original display candy box's to boot! Super shape! I remember using these candy machines. I haven't found your machine yet but I am still looking. BUT, I have found information on a side Twin Merchandiser that was designed as a side addition to the Univendor candy machine, this side unit was made in 1941 bu Stoner Corp. If you want to see a photo of what this looks like e-mail me at jackpot7@ix.netcom.com and I will send you this information. I'll get back to you when I find something out on the candy machine.
Sincerely
Rodger Knutson

Answer
Hi Garry,

Nothing new yet, I trust you received my photo's and information OK? I am trying to find out if any new books are out on vending machines. There is not a lot of information available out there on these type of vending machines. I'll keep trying.
Thank You
Rodger

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
