Question
Thanks Rodger,
I have not talked with you in the past. I saw your answers to someone elses questions and decided to contact you. The game seems to be very unique and since there are not many out there I thought that it would be fun to have one in working condition. If I could find some way of repairing it would it be worth the cost compared to the end value?
Thanks again for the information!
Cal

Question -
Do you know who could repair this and approximate cost?

Answer -
Hi Cal,

Wow, Rays track..... Neet game, but this is going to be really hard to to find someone who works on these. I did know someone who was good on these type of machines but he died some years ago. I'll have to think about this for a bit. As for cost, it depends of course what is wrong with it. If it has not worked for years and has never been restored, it's going to be a huge project, as it will have to be completely dissembled and rebuilt from the ground up and it would be expensive, very expensive. These machines are Very labor intensive, and very complicated, and no parts available any-ware as far as I know. But it would be worth it! and I would give it a try if it were mine, as this is a fine, fun playing game, and I would love to have one myself. Did you write be about this Rays Track before? or was that someone else?

Sincerely
Rodger Knutson

Answer
Hi Cal,

I am still not finding anyone who want to work on this. I don't know why, I wouldn't be so afraid of it, but again I have never seen inside one. Ware do you live?
Rodger

Hi Cal,

Just answering via allexperts to clear this letter. I am still trying to find someone who know these machines, and maybe works on them. I will let you know what I find out soon. Thanks for the added information.

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
