Collectibles-General (Antiques)/sewing box, childs?

Question
Years ago was given a small (3"x1 1/2")box made of tortoise shell, old then. Inside are: needle case, lacer, scissors, etc. all in miniature - not sure if gold.  Would this be for a child, it appears it would be too small. Any info you can give me would be appreciated.  Also, I'm thinking of selling, what might be the value. Thanks, Pat.

Answer
Hello Pat.  Is it possible for you to send me digital pictures?  If so, send them to bacchino@twcny.rr.com.  It is difficult to give you information or a price range without seeing the set, as it could be a child's set, a salesman's sample or a miniature set.  Thanks, Barb
