Question
I have 6 heavy silver wine goblets received from my father in law, they are all stamped Selanger Pewter 97%, could you please let me know if they are in fact antique and what the are worth, my husband was going to garage sale them!
Thank you for your time

Answer

Why do you say they are silver when they are stamped 'pewter'?

No, they are certainly not antique, and yes, a garage sale is the right place for them. Made in Malaysia in the last 50 years. 97% refers to the amount of tin in the alloy. See the company's website: www.royalselangor.com - you might even find your goblets on there.
