i have a small brass pig about one and half inches long.if u wind or unwind his tail a tapemeasure comes out.it belonged 2 my grandmother,mother,and now me.i wondered if it was a collectable and if its worth anything?thanking u 4 ur help.xx

Hi Rennie.  It sounds like you have a figural tape measure, and yes, they are collectible.  There are at least two very good books out on the subject that will help you identify what you have.  Without pictures or a hands-on inspection of the item, I could not tell you if it was worth any thing or not, as condition affects the value greatly.  Also, if it has been handed down through the generations, it may hve more sentimental than monetary value.  You might try searching eBay for similar items to give you an idea of price range.  Enjoy your tape!  Barb
