QUESTION: Yes i have this Medal and i am trying to sell it the guy at the Antuiqe stor offerd me $20 but i think its werth more can you give me an idea what its werth thank you....Rick

ANSWER: Hi Rick,
Thanks for sending your question and pic. You were right, the Medal is worth more than $20.00, however, I do not have enough information to give you an idea of the value. First of all I need to see the back (reverse) of the piece and I need to know if there is a NUMBER on the bottom rim (VERY IMPORTANT) and what it is if there is one (could be an MNo. or No. or just a plain #) If you can take a picture of the bottom, if there is a number on it, that would be helpful.
Thanks, Bill

QUESTION: Thanks Bill i I also would Like tio no what the Number on the Bottom Rim is for it reads No.210 and i thank you for you help....Rick

Answer
Hi RicK,
Thanks for the e-mail and question.
The No. stands for "number" and the 210 is the issue number. The numbering system on these was to correspond with the recipient, so 210 is a real low # making the medal more valuable. To see if you can find out who the medal was issued to you need to find a research expert who may be able to trace the medal back to the one who received it.
Sincerely, Bill
