Question
QUESTION: hope you can help i have bbeen on every wesite i can think trying to find the correct story of the models i have someone at the ceo of mattel phil is attempting to get me info his ph 716-687-3017  the picture of my model is on ebay  150177685168 i purchased in 2000 several mattel hotwheels models of a ;launch 360 modena; limited to 300 models mostly given to vip,s i can find no one to give me info on these including hotwheels customer service, collectors site dicussion boards etc any help would be appreciated   the box says 1/64 but i believe  they are 1/43

ANSWER: You pretty much have the correct story as to where the car is from. It is a promo given to VIP's at the event. That is why it is a pewter car on a plaque, to commemorate the event. As far as value, it is up to the collector that would want such a piece. Your run of the mill collector would have no use for something like this. Actually, I would dare to say that your best bet would be Euro collectors.
As far as scale, if the box says, 1/64, that that is what it should be. Mattel is very straight forward with it's correct packaging. And anyway, I would not be able to tell without having it in my hand or at least seeing it next to a regular size Hot Wheels car.
Best wishes.

QUESTION: hi michael thanks for the info even though the box says 1/64th the model is 1/43 not sure where i go from here what about hotwheels auctions at one of their conventions

Answer
Dr. Michaels,
I will send a note to a friend at Mattel.
Please look on the box and tell me the date of the copyright and the product number. I will do what I can. These type pieces are very hard to track down only because some are actually just licensed by Mattel and produce by another manufacture.
