Hi
I'm Shane and have a question that i can't find the answer to in any other site. I have a Limited Edition Hot Wheels Racing Holden Commodore V8. I haven't opened since it was released in 2004, hoping it would be worth something in the future. What makes it so rare is the fact that not only was it released for a small part of 2004 (Roughly 3-5 weeks) but also its design was made by a Hot Wheels collector. I was not able to find a Hot Wheels price guide for this car, Official or Unofficial, and was hoping maybe you could help me secure a price on this Collectible.

Hi Shane and thanx for writing.
The piece that you are speaking of I have never heard of. Was it produced by Mattel, or was it something that was redone by someone for a special event? A lot of clubs do pieces like that. If so, that would make it a code 3 item. I will need a photo of it to be able to know better about it. I would also need to know how many were produced and where they were released.
Now as far as being in one of my price guides, I don't list any Limited Edition cars since there are so many that are done for many reasons they are just impossible to keep track of.
