Question
I just readyour response about Zowee cars.  But I seem to remember getting mine at Arby's back in the early 70's.  I have six of them.  But I am extremely interested in finding out about a Hot Wheels Ford J-car that I purchased back in 1969 stamped 1967 on the chassis.  I have yet to find a J-car stamped 1967.  It is metallic blue and in excellent condition considering.  I also have a Red Baron (original) from 1969 and the Classic Nomad (original) from 1969.  Any ideas of their value.  Ken

Answer
Hi Ken,
The date of 1967 is the year that the Ford J Car casting was copyrighted. If you read the begining of my book "Hot Wheels a Warman's Companion Guide" I wrote how the first 16 Hot Wheels cars were designed starting in 1966 by Harry Bradley and a couple others. The first 16 cars will have 1967 on the base. The date usually states the year of copyright and the year before actual release.
As for their values, it all depends on color an condition.
Best wishes....
Mike
