Question
I brought a 69 cougar eliminator hot wheel 2009. I notice after I brought it the plastic was a little crush. So i went back to buy another one and give the other one away. But when i put them side by side i notice that the crush one had the red line line wheels. How would I know if hot wheels made a mistake or not making this a rare find.

Hi Kim,
I am guessing that you found this Redline Cougar at Wal*Mart....
What you have there are the very limited Wal*Mart Exclusive Redline cars.
There are 10 cars all together and they all have redline tires:
  * Red '66 FORD FAIRLANE GT
  * Blue '67 CAMARO
  * Maroon '67 SHELBY GT-500
  * Purple '69 COUGAR ELIMINATOR
  * Gold '70 CHEVELLE SS WAGON
  * Orange MUSTANG MACH 1
  * Green '08 DODGE CHALLENGER SRT8
  * Yellow DAIRY DELIVERY
  * Purple ICE CREAM TRUCK
  * Blue JEEP SCRAMBLER
They were only release for a very short run and then went back to the regular wheel.
