Answer
Hi Caryn,
The best I can do is put you in touch with the "Tin Lizzie Club". They have cars like yours. Here is their MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/tinlizzieclub

Tin Lizzie Club
In the late 1950's, a company called McDonough Power Equipment Co. (now known as "Snapper" Lawn Mowers) in McDonough GA, was looking for a product to sell to create cash flow during the winter months when their lawn mower sales were slow. Their in-house engineers came up with a small, 1/4 scale T-Model, called the "Tin Lizzie", made up of parts more commomly used to build their mowers. They sold for $375.00, and were extremely popular. In the 60's, when their lawn mower business exploded, they sold the rights to the little car to Sharp Mini Cars in Kansas. Sharp still produces the car, although the original drive train was changed to utilize a generic transmission/drivline. You can view their products at www.SharpMiniCar.com. Another site to see some restored models and get a parts list is www.clooney.com .

We are a group of guys that have found old, original Tin Lizzies and enjoy restoring them. We enter in local parades, we're planning some "Show & Shine" gatherings, maybe evn a parking lot gymkhana of some sort. We have some "in house" talent, should you need a wooden spoke wheel repaired or replaced, and we'd like to hear from others who own the cars who can share technical info, parts, etc.
