Question
I have an old brass bubble blower for sale on Ebay and dont know anything about it. It is very nice and very very old but no name.

Answer
Without a picture or more description it is hard to give you more information. My best guess is that you are talking about a brass container that can be hung from a cord around one's neck. That item is most often called a Royal Bubbler. Most appear to be from the past 15 to 30 years, but they probably are representations of something much older. I have no idea what the original was or when it was, but the designs on the recent ones suggest India as the place of origin.

In terms of the necklace, the cord is called a lanyard and the bottle would be the pendant. You see them for sale on ebay occasionally. Most of those sell in the $10-$15 range.

Expertise

I am a collector of bubble blowers and can direct others to where they might find a specific bubble blower, and also help them get more information about bubbles and bubble blowers. Feel free to ask any bubble related questions and if I don`t know the answer I`ll give you some other ideas to explore. Please note that I am a COLLECTOR of bubble blowers, not a seller, but I can often point you in the right direction for one you would like to find.

Experience

Experience in the area:
I have been collecting bubble blowers for many, many years, and have around 700 in my personal collection. I have built a "museum" of bubble blowers over the years online at www.BubbleBlowers.com.
