Collectibles--Toys/Adding bubbles to a bubble leaf blower

Question
Hello. I recently purchased a Fisher Price leaf bubble blower for my son. I poured bubbles into the front of it, as the sides that looked like the spot where to pour bubbles wouldn't take the liquid. Well, after I poured the liquid into the front, all of it spill out throughout the body of the blower. Did I buy a broken model or is there somewhere else to pour the bubbles. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Answer
Hi Mary,

I think the leaf bubble blower is one of the most prolific, and really like it, but it does have the problem of having to be kept level. There should be a small, clear plastic box you can see through some of the holes the front where the bubbles come out. If you can't see the box in there, or if it leaks, you might be able to use some tape or glue to close the spots. I'd guess though that the problem is more likely due to difficulty in keeping it level. It may be that until your son becomes proficient at that, he would find it easier to use set level on a small table or something like that where he could turn the crank without lifting it.

I do hope you can get it working -- it really is one of my favorites!

I am a collector of bubble blowers and can direct others to where they might find a specific bubble blower, and also help them get more information about bubbles and bubble blowers. Feel free to ask any bubble related questions and if I don`t know the answer I`ll give you some other ideas to explore. Please note that I am a COLLECTOR of bubble blowers, not a seller, but I can often point you in the right direction for one you would like to find.
