Question

BAT-PEZ
I have a Batman Pez dispenser that my husband has had for some time. I thought I should pair it with one/several Batmobile Hot Wheels, but he said he didn't think it was a good idea.  I'm glad I found this "expert site" for Hot Wheels inquiries, but I think it is even MORE interesting to know about you AND Marilyn.  Very Cool!  Are the Pez dispenser only worth something with, or without, the Pez candy?  And, either way, should they (still) be wrapped in something?
Thanks for doing what you do!  Hope to hear back soon!

Hi Robynn,
Thanks very much for adding a photo with your inquiry... pictures are worth 1000 words for sure!
The dispenser you have was released around the millennium...  It is referred to as the "dark knight" version of the Batman series of dispensers.  Very popular, thus very common...
Your version is the early version of the dark knight with the tall pointy ears... they were later shortened, and rounded off to be safer for child's play.
Value is a couple of bucks...  most dispensers with patent numbers starting with a "4" or a "5" value roughly the same in or out of their package and with or without candy.
Enjoy him!
