Question
I am looking for a bubble blower made from brass and can be worn as a necklace.  The cap is also brass and has a cork which is pushed into the tube.  I had purchased one years ago from a store called the Museum Store.  The bubble blower was a reproduction from and antique one. Any suggestions on where I might look?

Answer
I believe you are looking for the Royal Bubbler. You can see a picture of it on my site at http://www.bubbleblowers.com/pages/29.html

The Royal Bubbler is frequently available on eBay.com. You can watch for it there, using this URL to narrow down the items:
http://search.ebay.com/royal-bubbl-anchor-ruby-light_W0QQsokeywordredirectZ1QQfr...

or you can put this search string in the ebay.com search box:
   royal +bubbl* -(anchor,ruby,light*)

There also is a silver bubble blower called the Royal Selangor Bubbler that has a teddy bear on top that you might be interested in. I've seen it on ebay at times too, and there are a couple places that sell them online. If you enter Royal Bubbler into the search box at http://www.froogle.com you will be able to see what it looks like.

Good luck in your search,
Bubblin' Marilyn

I am a collector of bubble blowers and can direct others to where they might find a specific bubble blower, and also help them get more information about bubbles and bubble blowers. Feel free to ask any bubble related questions and if I don`t know the answer I`ll give you some other ideas to explore. Please note that I am a COLLECTOR of bubble blowers, not a seller, but I can often point you in the right direction for one you would like to find.

Experience

Experience in the area:
I have been collecting bubble blowers for many, many years, and have around 700 in my personal collection. I have built a "museum" of bubble blowers over the years online at www.BubbleBlowers.com.
