I have a candy dispenser that would be for round candies, not pez.  It is quite old, and I have never seen anything like it.  I was wondering if there were prototypes put out for smarties, or possibly a line of smarties dispensers.  It has a blue stem and a yellow lemon shaped head.  I can send pictures.

Hi Carolyn,

Sounds to me like you've got a "Totem" candy dispenser.  If it's a Totem, it will have a 'lever' that slides out from under the head atop the stem, and then slide back into the dispenser pushing out a Smartie Candy disc.

They are from the 70's - 80's or so.  Sorry I don't know that much about them or even who to direct you to.

But, an online search for "Totem Candy Dispenser" will probably result in a few places for you research rarity and value.
