Collections Law - LVNV Funding Files Suit- Robert Paisola Responds

Question I have 2 summons for 2 different debts. I have answered to one (contesting) and have approx. 20 days left to respond to the other. Both the debts are with LVNV Funding but the summons list different attorney offices. I am considering going with a credit settlement plan through a credit counseling company. They promise legal backing and cease and desist orders. I want to know if it's even possible for them to deal with the creditors even though they have already summoned me, before i agree to pay them anything. I want to know if this is going to stop me from going to court.

Thanks for taking the time to write to me on this matter. Let me tell you that having dealt with LVNV Funding, a debt settlement company ( WHICH I NEVER EVER EVER RECOMMEND) is a waste of time of money.
So, based on this fact and the past experience of dealing with this company, I want you to think about simply filing a formal answer to the complaint and in your answer I want you to add this paragraph to the section where it states the amount that you are due.
THIS DEBTOR IS WITHOUT SUFFICIENT KNOWLEDGE TO KNOW IF THIS IS A VALID DEBT AS LVNV AND COUNSEL HAVE REFUSED TO PROVIDED THE REQUIRED MEDIA SUPPORTING THE UNDERLYING CLAIMS. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE DEFENDANT BE PROVIDED WITH THE COPY OF THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION, A COPY OF EACH AND EVERY STATEMENT, A COPY OF EACH AND EVERY SIGNED CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION SLIP SHOWING MY UNDERLYING LIABILITY FOR THE CHARGES.
