Question
     i wanted to know how often collectors can leave messages on your
answering machine in Minnesota.  they have been leaving messages on my
machine 5 days a week for over a month.  and i do believe by fdcpa
regulations they can only leave a message once every 3 days or twice a week or
something like that.  do i have a case against them or no. thank you

Answer
They may call daily although not an excessive number of times. This is wide open to interpretation so there is no definitive answer. I don't believe they are in violation. You may stop the calls by sending a cease and desist letter by certified mail demanding they cease all phone communications. BY FDCPA they must stop calling.
