Question
A collection agency Asset Acceptance is garnishing my wages for a old phone bill from 10 years ago. I asked them for proof of the bill, a phone number or something and all they gave me was time of service. And said that they bought it from Verizon Wireless. I am now fighting it in court, but don't they have to supply me with something to prove it is my bill?

Unfortunately, no, inasmuch as I presume they obtained a default judgement against you in order for them to garnish. The only thing you can do now is to Move to Vacate the original judgment for such things as improper service.
