Collections Law - Company has Judgment, Will not Accept Reasonable Payments, Robert Paisola Responds

Question I appeared in court and recieved a judgement against me for $3600.00 as the company refused to accept reasonable payment. I had been not working due to a temporary disability and thier insurance suddenly didnt cover self-employed. Anyway this was in December of 2007. I recieved letter from an attorney they are now attempting to collect on behalf of the credit card company but for an amount of over $5700.00. I'm not sure how to handle it as yes now I am working again but not able to provide more than $100/mo. I'm afraid they will refuse to accept this. Also can they add to the orginal judgment amount? The orginal debt was $2600, became 3600 at court and now is 5700? Can I still negotiate or just send an amount hoping they accept it? Thanks in advance. I'm just really confused how to approach it as I do want to make a serious effort to repay but within reason.

First of all, I want to congratulate you for even taking the time to show up in court! Did you know that 90 percent of the people that are served with a lawsuit by a creditor, never even bother to show up!
Now that the company has the Court Ordered Judgment, they still have to enforce it. What that means is that just because the Court says that you are required to pay the balance due, the creditor still has to find and secure the funds!
I think that this is why my mentor Donald Trump says... NEVER EVER OWN ANYTHING, BUT CONTROL EVERYTHING ! If you do not understand this...It is called ASSET PROTECTION!!!
So, Now the Attorney is trying to collect for his client. He has to get you in court on what is called a Sup Order, which is basically an inquisition about your assets.
Now, the balance awarded was 3600 in 2007. I am sure that the Court ordered interest and fees and THIS IS WHERE THE ATTORNEYS AND COLLECTION AGENCIES MAKE MONEY!
So, now you are facing a $5700.00 balance and rising!
What you need to do is to contact the attorney and tell him that you can pay 100.00 per month toward the bill. This is nothing but a delay tactic, because with the interest, it will take years to pay it off.
