Question
If I see there is no way possible to pay all the medical bills totaling 10,000 can I ask to have them removed from my credit report? What are the chances that they will remove it?

Answer
Rosalyn:

It is your statutory right under the FCRA to be able to dispute items on your credit report.  However, dispute things you believe to be inaccurate and or incomplete.  Do not dispute the items through the credit reporting agencies because "you cannot pay them."  That will not work.

The chances of removal are pretty good if they're older than two years.  If you're a Tennessee resident, contact us at Barnette Law Offices, LLC for a free consultation.  Ask for Jason Barnette, Esq.
