Collections Law/Medical Bills

Question
My stepson is mentally ill. He was hospitalized 2x in March and then admitted to the Psych ward. I have been paying $20 a month on each of the various bills we have acquired. Now the companies have sent us to collections, claiming they did not know if or when they were going to be paid. I paid the hospital 2x in September and they cashed 2 of my checks after they sent me to collections. Is this legal? They sent us for the full amount we owe rather than the amount we should owe after receiving our payments. What do we do? We are drowning in medical bills and pay what we can and we still get sent to collections. Please help.

There is nothing you can do about their sending the bills to collections but you really should be happy that they did. Now you can learn how to catch the debt collectors and their attorneys violating the law, sue them in federal court and make them pay the bill for you and pay you cash besides. Think that can't be done? Think again because the way the laws are set up it is nearly impossible for a debt collector to collect a debt without breaking the law. Now that the economy is so bad and people simply don't have the money to pay up with they are getting more and more aggressive and are breaking the law more than ever before.

Experience

Education/Credentials
Paralegal courses for the most part.
I have been teaching people how to deal with judgments, mortgage foreclosures and other such problems both on and off the internet for many, many years. I am a Richard Cornforth information provider ever since 2000 and worked with many other organizations and causes since 1980. I was Oklahoma State Chairman for the nationwide drive to defeat the Constitutional Convention which was proposed by various factions within our federal government such as the Council of State Governments and the National Organization of State Governors who were working hard to organize a Constitutional Convention to be held in 1995 for the purpose of rewriting our American Constitution to be more acceptable to the United Nations. I worked with Senator Charles Duke of Colorado and Senator Don Rogers of California and many others across the nation to keep them from getting the number of delegate states required to lawfully hold a Con-Con and we were successful. I have worked with many other legislative issues in Oklahoma and have always been very successful.
