Question i had a repo in 2003 it was sold and left a balance of around 6500 including interest and attorney fees, on nov 4 2009 i recieved a summons by sheriff and givin 30 days to respond or a judgement will b issued
they sold vehicle at auction in 2004
hasnt the sol ran out seein the original contract is void once i was in delinquincy
so the remainder balance has a four year sol please help explain if im wrong or what i can do

No way of knowing if the limitation period has run out without knowing what state you are in. Not only that, but limitations is an affirmative defense meaning that the plaintiff is not automatically disqualified from suing you even if the statute had run. You have several options at this point but time is important because you have an imediately impending return date on the summons that you were served with.
