Question
I recently received a court order to appear in court on June 1st pertaining to a company called Paliesda Collections LLC, based in NJ. I am a resident of GA, and would like to know how do I reconcile this issue being that I'm unaware of this debt. Upon my research about this company, I've come to find out some disturbing things that makes me question there practice. Please, I need some answer before I go to court and find myself in over my head with something that could hinder me financially. Thank you,

It is going to harm you financially regardless of what you do unless you can figure out how to defeat them. Of course, you will have to file a response with the court and you will need to take a very aggressive course of action with this situation or they will get a judgment against you. But the best way to put a stop to their ambitions is to also file a federal lawsuit against them for violations of FDCPA and if possible, FCRA as well. You need to start off with a sworn graduated denial of debt and demand for production of documents. You will also have to prepare a certificate of mailing and probably a demand for validation. That will get your defense started and well on the way to taking command of the situation in a viable manner.

Experience

I've been an active consumer advocate for more than 40 years and have helped hundreds of people win cases against debt collectors as well as helping them defeat demands for summary judgment lodged against them by banks, debt collectors and defeat mortgage foreclosures and keep their homes.

Education/Credentials
Paralegal courses for the most part.
I have been teaching people how to deal with judgments, mortgage foreclosures and other such problems both on and off the internet for many, many years. I am a Richard Cornforth information provider ever since 2000 and worked with many other organizations and causes since 1980. I was Oklahoma State Chairman for the nationwide drive to defeat the Constitutional Convention which was proposed by various factions within our federal government such as the Council of State Governments and the National Organization of State Governors who were working hard to organize a Constitutional Convention to be held in 1995 for the purpose of rewriting our American Constitution to be more acceptable to the United Nations. I worked with Senator Charles Duke of Colorado and Senator Don Rogers of California and many others across the nation to keep them from getting the number of delegate states required to lawfully hold a Con-Con and we were successful. I have worked with many other legislative issues in Oklahoma and have always been very successful.
