Question
Hello.
My daughter and I live in California. My daughter is 20 years old and she is living in my house.  My daughter has a job, but no medical insurance.  Is it true that I can be held responsible for her medical/hospital bills till age 24?
Regards,
Lana

Answer
Lana:

No, the doctrine of necessaries generally would only hold you responsible for your children's medical expenses up until the age of 18.  Please feel free to contact Apex Credit Services with any further questions and feedback is always appreciated.
