Question
I had a SCB card 4 years back and due to a dispute over a few transactions, I did not make the payments thereafter. I changed my house and hence stopped getting any communication from the bank wrt payments. I have a couple of queries: 1. Can the bank ever trace me? 2. What are the actions the bank can take against me and what are it's consequences? 3. Can I opt for a settlement option with the bank for a lower amount and what is the right procedure for the same.

Answer
Dear S Dutta,

Thank you or your question.

1. The bank can trace you.
2. The bank can place a lien on your assets, levy your bank account, garnish wages ect.
3. You can opt for an offer to compromise, however the bank does not have to reduce the amount.  If you would like professional assistance please contact me at 888-686-6834 ext 8013.  100% Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Sincerely yours,
