Question
I recently loss my job and contacted my car loan company that I would be late on my payment and gave them the exact day I would be making the car payment.  Since that phone call to them, they have called my cell phone four times (within two days).  I answered the call and they ask when the payment will be made, I again tell them the specific day.  They inform me that until the payment is made they will continue to call my cell phone.  Please let me know if there is something I can do?  Thank you.

Answer
Hope:

If it's the original creditor, no.  If it is a debt collector, yes, you can write them a letter telling them to only contact you in writing.
