Question
I have been in chapter 13 past my five years and I still owe Toyota for a truck. I have been told by my lawyer that the only recourse I have is to either refile ch13 or file chapter 7 but I do not won't to refile again. I talked to Toyota and they are waiting for the dismissal so they can take the truck back or I have to come up with $8500 which I can not afford. Can you help me I have paid faithfully.

Answer
Dear Georgeanna,

Thank you for your question.

Unfortunately there is very little that can be done at this point.  Listen to your attorney, or try to refinance the truck through a different lender.

Good Luck
