Question
I live in Colorado and am a small time landlord, one unit. I have a judgment against former tenants, husband and wife, I had evicted. Judge ordered them to bring in 2008 tax returns in addition to filling out interrogatories. The tenants didn't bring in tax records but told clerk they don't have to file so they haven't. Can I have the court order them to file and to have any refund come to me?

If in the event the couple didn't make enough money to file their tax documents there is nothing a court can do to enforce them to file their taxes.  It's up to the IRS.
