Question
Do collectors follow specific verbatim for tape disclosure or dpc...if yes what is teh verbatim

Answer
I have not seen codified specific text. But they are required to give what is called a mini-miranda. It is to say something similar to "This is a debt collector. Any information given will be used for that purpose."

As far as letting you know you are being taped most will also let you know up front that you are being taped. They may not have to warn you if both of you are in a one party state.

I hope this helps.
